Our community

A little kindness. Clear boundaries. Care for each other.

Updated 30 October 2026

Be truthful. Respect a no. Keep each other’s information private.

Code Girly is intended for women aged 18 and over. Reviewed access supports the community; it cannot guarantee who someone is or how they will act.

Join honestly

Use your own account and provide truthful eligibility information. Do not impersonate someone, evade review, create replacement accounts after a restriction or help another person access a member’s account. Do not guess someone’s eligibility from their name, appearance or voice.

Let consent lead

A shared plan is an invitation to ask, not permission to follow, locate or repeatedly contact someone. Wait for both people to agree before a conversation begins. Stop when a person declines, withdraws or blocks you. Never pressure someone to share an exact location, personal contact information or photographs.

Keep the community kind and useful

No harassment, hate, threats, sexual exploitation, stalking, scams, spam, doxxing or unwanted sexual contact. Do not use the app to sell prohibited goods, solicit money through false emergencies or organize confrontations. Respect people’s boundaries and differences.

For a social meetup, choose a public place and make your own judgment about whether to attend. Reviewed membership or an accepted invitation is not a guarantee of safety.

Use requests responsibly

Choose a category that reflects your situation. Do not stage an incident, repeatedly submit duplicates or use urgent requests for jokes, promotions or disputes. A request is supplementary community support; it does not automatically reach 911 and does not guarantee a response.

Responders should stay at a safe distance and avoid confrontation. If you reasonably believe a crime or immediate emergency is happening, call 911 from a safe place and report what you know. Do not put yourself in danger to investigate or obtain proof.

Report privately and fairly

Use the private report option for a connected participant when you have an age, impersonation, membership, harassment or unsafe-behaviour concern. Provide relevant observations rather than guesses or insults. Reports are reviewed by authorized staff and do not automatically ban someone.

Never publicly name an alleged impersonator, organize mass reporting, threaten disclosure or retaliate against a reporter. A membership concern is not permission to demand identity documents or target someone over their appearance or gender expression. Block the connection separately if you want to stop contact.

Protect what someone trusts you with

Do not copy or distribute another person’s messages, location, report or identifying information without permission, except as necessary to report a genuine emergency or meet a legal obligation. Keep private information out of public posts. Avoid sending unnecessary sensitive details even in a temporary chat.

When something goes wrong

End the conversation, block or report the participant, or contact contact@tnaado.ca. Support is not an emergency service and may not respond immediately. For an immediate emergency, contact 911 when safe.

Rule violations may lead to restricted access, review, suspension or removal. You can request a review of a decision through support. We will explain material changes to these guidelines.
