Who operates Code Girly

Code Girly is operated by TNAADO Inc in Canada. These terms cover the app and its community features. The privacy policy explains information handling, and the community guidelines explain expected conduct. Questions can be sent to contact@tnaado.ca.

Eligibility and access

Code Girly is intended for women aged 18 and over. You must provide truthful declarations and account information, follow community rules and complete the applicable membership review. Membership, requesting support, responding and staff access have separate permissions. Signing in does not automatically approve you for community access.

Apple sign-in and optional age signals do not guarantee a person’s gender, age, identity or intentions. Approval is a moderation decision, not a background check or a safety guarantee. Do not impersonate another person, lend or sell an account, evade a restriction or use multiple accounts to abuse the community.

Help and emergencies

Code Girly does not automatically contact 911, operate emergency dispatch or guarantee that staff or a member will see or respond to a request. Notifications may be delayed, unavailable or unseen. A discreet request is a request for supplementary community support.

If you believe a crime or immediate emergency is happening, contact 911 when it is safe to do so. Responders should stay in a safe place, avoid approaching or confronting anyone and report what they reasonably believe or observe. Do not enter danger, investigate a suspected crime in person or assume another member has called. A message in the app does not confirm that emergency services were contacted.

Community members are not represented as trained emergency professionals. Do not use the app as a substitute for emergency, medical, legal or other professional assistance.

Your choices and responsibilities

You choose whether to share a social plan, accept a connection or send a message. Respect a refusal, withdrawal or block. Do not publish someone else’s contact details, location, messages or reports. Ask permission before sharing personal information, and include only what is needed.

You are responsible for the content you submit. You keep any rights you have in it and allow TNAADO Inc to store, deliver, review and remove it as needed to provide the features you choose, enforce these rules and meet legal obligations. This permission ends when that processing is no longer needed, subject to the retention described in the privacy policy.

Moderation and reporting

We may limit, suspend or remove access when needed to address rule violations, safety concerns, fraud, legal obligations or service abuse. Reviews can expire and may need renewal. A report does not itself establish that an allegation is true. Deliberately false, discriminatory, retaliatory or coordinated reports violate the rules.

You can request an explanation or review of an account decision by contacting support. We may withhold details that would expose another person’s private information or enable abuse. No moderation process can prevent every harmful interaction.

Availability and sponsored content

The service can change, pause or stop, and features may be unavailable during maintenance, outages or provider failures. A temporary plan or chat can expire before you read it. Keep any information you need through an appropriate independent channel with the other person’s consent.

Clearly labelled sponsored content may appear on Chillin and nonurgent information pages when advertising is available. A sponsored placement is not a promise about the advertiser or its offer. Code Girly may display its own promotional content when a paid ad is unavailable. You do not need to watch an ad to request help.

Leaving and changes

You can stop using the app and request deletion through the account flow or support. Signing out is separate from account deletion. Limited safety records may remain as explained in the privacy policy.

We will explain material changes to these terms before applying them to ongoing use. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, or promises legal immunity for TNAADO Inc or community members.
